Rubikon Shipping Company is looking for a Junior Vessel Operations Coordinator to join our team in Belgrade.

We are looking for an organized, responsible and detail-oriented person interested in building a career in shipping and vessel operations.

Previous experience in shipping is welcome but not required – we are prepared to train the right candidate.

• Daily monitoring of vessel positions and voyage progress

• Daily communication with Masters and crew

• Maintaining operational records and vessel documentation

• Preparation and control of documentation related to loading and discharge operations

• Coordination with agents, surveyors, customs and port authorities

• Monitoring loading and discharge operations

• Monitoring water levels and relevant navigation conditions

• Updating voyage, operational and cargo records

• Supporting bunker planning and ordering

• Assisting with voyage calculations and monthly transport planning

• Completed university degree; a background in transport, logistics, maritime/nautical studies, economics, organizational sciences or a related field is an advantage.

• Very good working knowledge of Excel and MS Office

• Good command of English

• Fluent Serbian, due to daily communication with vessel crews

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and communication skills

• Ability to manage and follow several tasks simultaneously

• Responsible and proactive approach to work

• Category B driving licence

• Training in river shipping and vessel operations

• Direct exposure to day-to-day fleet operations
